I was pleased to see all the safety precautions. The staff was prompt and pleasant despite the conditions we all had to adhere to.
Dr. Deramo is a skilled, patient, gentle and wonderful man. He takes such good care of my 87 year old mother. He is always ready to answer any questions and explains everything to her step by step. He has preserved her vision and improved her quality of life. His office is smoothly run and the staff is superb. During this time of COVID-19 I can't escort my mother in for her treatment. He exudes a quiet confidence, the willingness to discuss my condition, and most importantly a willingness to consult with his colleagues regarding my specific visual challenge. He was absolutely outstanding. I am forever grateful for his willingness to formulate a treatment plan which resolved my problem.
Seven years ago, Dr. Deramo performed a vitrectomy & repair of a macular hole in the retina of my left eye. This tear left me unable to see in that eye. My recovery was complete. To me this felt like a miracle but in truth it was due to Dr. Deramo's expert surgical skills. Each year when I return for a follow-up visit, I am reminded of the professionalism and caring of Dr. Deramo and his team I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Deramo's medical knowledge & surgical skill.
