I had several visits with this physician and unfortunately did not have a good experience. Across four or five appointments, I spent very little actual time with him (approximately 10 minutes total) and often felt that my concerns were dismissed.At my final follow-up visit, he mentioned reviewing my chart beforehand but then asked why I was there, which was surprising since he had seen me multiple times already. Overall, I did not feel heard in my care and will be seeking treatment elsewhere.

Dr. Dobbs is very personable. He answers any questions I have. I am thrilled by his knowledge. He choose the right medicine for me and my cancer is gone.

All nurses were very good, especially Chastine (sp?) who administered the infusion. She made sure I was comfortable and had drink and snack. Dr. Dobbs was in a meeting, but popped in to say hello.

I was there to see Dr. Dobbs about my my blood clot in my leg, I felt comfortable with the things that he was telling me to reassure me that he will be able to help me, this was a scary thing that I went through with this blood clot, and our second meeting. I’m praying that the results are going to be good.

I have not actually seen Dr. Dobbs in person for a while, but I am completely taken care of anyway. When I had a very difficult decision on whether or not to have chemo, Dr. Dobbs was completely accessible and I believe convinced of the right decision, while making it my decision ultimately.

Dr. Dobbs has been an excellent oncologist for my father. Always attentive to the needs of the patient in order to provide the best quality of life possible. I would very highly recommend Dr. Dobbs, as well as the wonderful staff at Tennessee Cancer Specialists.
