Refused to listen to me at all. Blamed all of my issues on smoking. Sent me to physical therapy. After the first appointment I started getting weakness in both legs and would have to stop wherever I was and kneel on the floor for up to 10 minutes at a time to be able to continue. Dr. Ellison was great . He was calming, helpful and took the time with us to explain my MRI. He did NOT rush into the surgery option , in fact discussed other options as well. My mother came with me as well and really took a liking to him too. We are not sure what the nasty reviews are about . This man has 35 years experience and is knowledgeable.
He was condescending and made me feel very uncomfortable. I felt like he thought I was lying about my injuries. No bedside manner.
I have had great experiences with Dr.Ellison. He takes his time he’s thorough. He ask questions. I feel like he has given me good quality care.
If you’re contemplating letting this arrogant spoiled child perform your surgery , DONT ! Numbers don’t lie, look at ALL his reviews on these pages , you WILL see a pattern .
I wish his patients understood he is not a counselor. He is a surgeon and I regret the truth hurts.
The most rude and arrogant person I have ever met. Came for lower back and leg pain following a car wreck. It’s been almost a year now and every appointment with him consisted of waiting more than an hour to “speak” with him. Very rude doctor, did not answer my questions, said the dr. I had before when I was hospitalized for a week because I couldn’t move my legs was wrong. He cut me off when you tried to talk. Total waste of time and money.
Dr. Ellison performed an emergency ACDF surgery on me nearly 6 months ago. Due to the condition of my vertebrae, the complexity of my surgery was very high. My surgery was extremely successful and I was able to walk within hours afterwards. I have been blessed with continued improvement since and I have the utmost respect and admiration for him. He is a skilled surgeon. It is highly likely that I am able to walk today because of his expertise in his field.
