Dr. Akers and his staff were very friendly and so kind. I love that I didn't have to wait and that the offices are spotless.
I have been attending Akers for a little over a year now and i would honestly say if anyone is in need of he and his staffs services, Akers is the way to go. They are so kind, helping, understanding I mean just all of the above, there professionalism is really what people need now days, im actually sad:-( today's my last day, but i will continue to go, if your in need you should also. Thanks you guys see you soon:-)
I was not even able to walk into Dr. Akers office and after his amazing adjustment I was able to walk out!! He was extremely thorough and made sure before he even attempted to adjust me I had X-rays that he went over with me before hand! His office staff was amazing! I will be coming to him from here on out! Plus he has a massage therapist at his office!!
Dr. Akers and his staff are AMAZING!!! He and his staff were very attentive, made sure I was comfortable and were genuinely concerned. My 5 year old son also gets adjusted by him which helps him with his asthma and allergies. I highly recommend Dr. Akers!!!
I bring my daughter to Dr.Akers and he really makes her and myself comfortable.
I have Culinary insurance and Dr. Akers office accepted my insurance. He helped my daughter before when she was in an accident so when I had back pain I went to him. He helped me out and even explained to me my MRI more then I understood it when my medical doctor explained it. His staff is bilingual which is nice because i speak spanish as my first language. I'd refer anyone to Dr. Akers!
Dr. Akers may have a degree but lacks common sense that patients come before pleasure. He makes you wait in the front waiting room and in the back waiting room while he talks in Spanish to his office staff about Mexican Food. This happened several times. Every time you go there he keeps pushing you to go to J&J Health foods and buy some protein powder or something, and he always says don't forget to tell them I sent you.
Dr. Akers was refered as an in-network doctor, who once he found out that I was seeking his help because of a car accident he would no longer take the insurance and would work directly on getting paid by my attorney. I was never given a bill. When I checked with my insurance company if a Dr. could by-pass the insurance company in dealing with a personal injury case, they said no.
