I visited this office for follow-up care related to a labial hematoma. While I understand that medical offices can be busy, I was disappointed by the lack of communication during my appointment. The physician removed packing from a very sensitive area without explaining what she was doing beforehand. I was also prescribed metronidazole and had blood work and a culture ordered, but no explanation was given regarding the suspected diagnosis or reason for treatment. Dr. Beenken is fantastic. She went above and beyond the ACOG guidelines and treated me as an individual. I am healthy because of that and I am forever thankful and grateful to her. I was comfortable asking questions and she sat with me for a conversation. She is warm, friendly, caring and compassionate. I highly recommend this practice, especially Dr. Beenken.
Dr. Beenken performed our C Section after a long and difficult laboring attempt. Mother was in high distress with epidural failing. Dr. Beenken stayed calm in a high stress situation, quickly assembled the delivery team including NICU on short notice to get Mother out of distress as soon as possible, and kept Mother and Father informed throughout. I would highly recommend Dr. Beenken. I can not say enough about her and her nurse. They both were so warm and welcoming to me with all I had going on. It was so nice to have a doctor with such great bedside manners. After my first visit I felt like I had known her and her nurse for years. I was so comfortable asking Dr. Beenken anything.
