Today I met with Dr. D'Cruz, at Parrish Medical in Titusville FL. It was the worst experience I have ever had with any doctor. He would not allow me to explain my symptoms and what I was feeling. He said, "Just answer my questions!!" He would then interrupt me during my answer. The appointment lasted all of about five minutes before he decided to just prescribe some medication. Super attentive and took her time answering all my questions didn’t feel rushed.
I was referred to Dr. Taival by my GP for help with my ridiculously heavy menstrual bleeding. I saw Dr. Taival, she ordered an ultrasound and based on the results, she recommended a hysterectomy. She explained my options clearly, and we decided on surgery. The surgery was six weeks ago, and it was the best move I could have made. I know that Dr. Taival’s skill and experience made the surgery go well, but her communication skills, compassion, and humor were also important to me. Dr. Taival is a fantastic physician. I am terrified of gynecological exams/procedures and she did everything she could to make me feel comfortable. When I called with a concern, she took the time to speak to me herself (almost immediately) rather than have a medical assistant answer my questions. The front desk staff and medical assistants are kind and non-judgemental and scheduling was easy. I called on a Monday and was seen that same week. Dr. Taival was attentive to my concerns and asked many questions that helped discover my potential problem. Her friendliness made me feel at home as soon as she entered the room. She makes great eye contact making it very easy to open up and talk with her. Finally, a doctor with a great "bedside" manner.
I had such a great experience with Dr. Taival. She was very thorough, attentive, and I felt very comfortable with her. She really takes time with her patients.
I couldn't trust her judgement and wouldn't recommend her. I was disappointed in her care.
I have had several appointments with dr D’Cruz. I have found the office staff to be friendly and helpful during my visits. the dr is very thorough and I don’t feel rushed through my appointments. I am continuing treatment under his care and I truly feel he addresses my concerns. I agree that he is not a chatty man but I believe him to be compassionate and caring.
I found her to be gentle, compassionate, caring, and easy to talk to. I am grateful as I had been struggling with Drs not listening to my symptoms and she did. Finally tests necessary were done quickly and a needed surgery scheduled. I am grateful to have found her. Her staff are kind and get the necessary paperwork done and will call you with updates when necessary. They are all wonderful.
