She was my primary care physician but I never felt that she really care for patients. The staff is very incompetent.

It is all about how much Dr.Gisi can bill your insurance company! Dr. Gisi orders blood tests, every time you need a refill on your perscription. Every 90 days. If you question her on why you need the test, she becomes very rude and cold. THE ONLY WAY FOR REFILLS. I find it very sad that patient care is put second to the $$$. After being a patient for 4 years, when I needed her most, she dropped the ball, this could have very well cost me my life. Not to mention NEVER a follow up call to see if I LIVED !!!
This lady is purely interested in raking in as much $$ as possible. She has too many patients coming in at the same time do you still have to wait 30 minutes past your appointment time. You cannot even call her office for refills unless you make an appointment to see her(more $$). She is a sham & so are a lot of her colleagues.... So I don't trust none of the doctors but they're all we have until something better comes along. I do not ever want to see Dr Gisi ever again...!!!!!
I really like Dr. Gisi's personality. She is friendly and professional, usually. However, she is very inept at prior auths. Also, I had a hernia and when she checked it she scoffed at me and told me I did not have a hernia. She definitely wants repeat appointments as often as possible and requires bloodwork too often in order to get refills. many questionable doctor visits from Dr. Gisi but this last one said it all.. went to see her for a suspicious lump UNDER the skin, she rushed the visit, prescribed an irritation cream saying if it doesn't work, just make another appointment. DO NOT TRUST THIS LADY WITH YOUR LIFE! either she doesn't know what she's doing or she's trying to get multiple visit out of it. this is CLEARLY under the skin and no cream is going to help..left her office after she concluded the visit and went to urgent care. the DR at UC was suspicio... read more
Dr.Gisi is good but with most of your dealings being with office staff,that is a bad reflection on her, since she is the one who hires them. You cannot leave a voicemail for her they will take a message,one that they write if you have a complaint and if you try to make an appt. to talk to her they will not let you. So then when I said I also have a suspected skin cancer on my face they still did not believe me and would not make an appt. We are very happy with Dr. Gisi and her staff. Everyone is very professional, but can easily interact with the patients I really appreciate you allowing to being my mom in when she is very sick. Squeezing a patient in is difficult but she hates going to an emergency room or urgent care, She trusts you.
Very bad experience and getting worse!Stop taking on patients if you cant handle the ones you have!
