I went to dr cocoziello when I was a young girl. Was put on depoprovera with only being told that it damages the density of my bones. She NEVER disclosed to me that there’s been a black box warning on that shot since 1973! And she kept me on it(without knowing the risks) from age 14-16. I have been a patient of Dr Susan for 38 years. She is the only OB/GYN that I trust. She is very knowledgeable and knows her fields. She is straight forward but will help you with your medical problem. I love Dr Susan and will continue to see her until the end. The wait time is a little long but she is definitely worth the wait! Thank you for all that you do Dr. Susan.
I came in because I was 8 weeks pregnant and I was bleeding. She performed a vaginal sonogram and blood was everywhere. She told me not to worry and gave me a prescription to "empty my uterus" and told me to come back in two weeks. I suffered severe cramping where I went to the hospital the same night and they told me I was having a miscarriage. Susan failed to tell me this information.
She was unprofessional, rude and displayed lack of empathy/sensitivity to patient issues. She rushed the appointment and did not behave as expected from a healthcare professional.
Looks like she is hiding herself with the glasses on the profile picture and that is the only thing she should do.She doesn't deserve nothing more. I would never recommend her to anybody,even she is known as a "bad "between the obg's around. Everyone knows how bad she is.
I was pregnant with my now 2.5 year old and she told me when I was pregnant what was I thinking getting pregnant so soon after my gastric sleeve like I planned it and that I was going to loose the baby due to my bleeding. Mind you this was right before Christmas that Christmas was horrible I went to a new doctor in January and assured me everything was going well. And had a full term pregnancy and gave birth to a healthy baby girl 7/18/15.
Yes, she is a wacky doctor and I went to her for years. Yes, shell scare the heck out of you. She is very brusque and rough. But she's straight up and very smart. You can take to her however you want and does not get offended as she's insensitive. So if you can take brutal honesty with good skills, no b.s. and lotsa smarts she's for you. If not beware, not for any prissy Ridgewood types!
Dr.Susan & D. Alex Cocoziello, husband & wife. They are two of the best doctors when it comes to the baby buisness.Dr Susan got me pregnant with two children in 1978 & 1983 and delivered them by C.Section (my Choice) her sister Dr. Naficy was the pediatrician for the babies, so my experience was a family affair, my kids were born in Barnett hospital,Paterson NJ, and I lived in the Bronx NY. My thanks to the Doctors the best in the world.
I was a patient years ago.....till they without giving me statements or even notices sent me to court for nonpayment, in which took over a year to find this out. I argued with them because never had any idea that their was a payment on my deductible to be made. Make a long story short received a call from the office saying I was right the person before did not sent out statements!! She wanted me to continue coming to the office since I was a very long time patient. NEVER WILL I EVER RETURN.
