I've been a patient of Dr. Swanson's for almost 20 years. She is an extremely skilled and kind physician. I feel that we are partners in my eye care. I am always happy to refer friends to her if they are looking for a good ophthalmologist. She's conveniently located on Luther Lane in Preston Center and she's affiliated with several other ophthalmologists of her caliber. Dr. Swanson was very impatient and impolite to me. She was not considerate of my feelings. She made me dare not ask my questions. She gave me the worse experience with a doctor. Her nurse was nice though.
Dr. Swanson is fantastic! She is thorough and detailed. I went in for a quick checkup and in minutes she said that we needed to check my eye pressure right then. I am only 41 and was showing signs of glaucoma. A few days later, she lasered my eyes and all is good. I am extremely appreciative and my eyes feel great!
Was there 3 hours after which I was told my eyes are too dry to get a reading. Sat around waiting and waiting.
Dr. Swanson is an excellent Doctor. I was referred to her in 2019 and she was very meticulous in the procedure performed on both of my eyes. She is very thorough and committed. I would refer her to family and friends.
I am a Sjogren's patient who suffers from very extreme dry eye. I have been Dr. Swanson's patient for more than a decade. As a retired nurse, in my opinion, Dr. Swanson is one of the finest ophthalmologist's in DFW. She is thorough, caring and compassionate. She is an extraordinary provider and one of the leading experts on dry eye in the area. The office temperature can be a bit chilly, so bring a sweater or hoodie.
Dr Swanson has terrible bedside manner. Among other things, she wouldn’t allow me to write down my diagnosis, and instead insisted I look her in the eyes.

Arrived at 8:30 for an 8:45 appointment. By 11:45 still had not seen doctor. I understand that it was a new patient visit, but to sit somewhere for over 3 hours and NEVER see the doctor is disrespectful and inexcusable. They were not very apologetic, and we ended up having to leave with my little boys' eyes dilated. People in waiting area were googling other eye doctors. LOTS of frustrated patients! They did not offer him protective eyewear either. I had to go back and ask.
