In 3 years of appointments with Dr. Lyons clinics, I have not yet had an appointment that was on time. And most often there have not been the staff to draw blood. The front desk staff are never apologetic or concerned for the delays being caused. Time to look for another Doctor . . .
My experience with this doctor did not go well. She seemed rushed and irritated with me and my questions. As the appointment continued, her responses became increasingly snide and sarcastic and at that point I did not feel she had my best interest at heart. Also, the office is very drab, not quite the standard to which I'm accustomed. For what it is worth, however, she seems very seasoned and knowledgeable and may be a good fit if you don't have what she perceives as too many questions.
I accompanied a dear friend of mine to her appointment with Dr.Lyons. The doctor was very professional, patient, excellent listener, and spent a good amount of time addressing my friend’s questions. She explained the next steps in the process very clearly, and prescribed medications efficiently. It was obvious from the first minute I met Dr.Lyons that she was a sharp cookie, lol. If I ever have a need for an oncologist in the future, Dr. Lyons would be my first choice.
Dr. Susan Lyons graduated me today! A little over 5 Years ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin’s. Dr. Lyons was all over it. She quickly put me on a treatment that put on the road to recovery. Some doctors don’t have good bedside manners, not Dr. Lyons. She’s very polite, responsive and easy to understand. I highly recommend her.
March 18, 2024. Dr. Susan Lyons is certainly one of the BEST Cancer Doctors I have had the pleasure of dealing with. I was diagnosed in 2017 with stage 4 Breast Cancer, with a softball size tumour in my right breast, and questionable areas in my left breast at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. They obviously started my treatment there, but I moved here to Michigan in March 2022. She did a wonderful job of Continuing my treatment and care.
