3 years ago (8\2019) Dr. Smith preformed my total right hip replacement. It was a total success. Yesterday I had an appointment for my left knee. It is bone on bone and I will need a knee replacement. No question, I will schedule with Dr. Smith. He came highly recommended and there are many orthopedic surgeons in the Atlanta area to choose from. Dr. Smith was my number one choice. I highly recommend him.
Initial consultation with Dr. Smith was most gratifying. He has excellent doctor/patient rapport. Explained the long-time benefits of knee surgery to my satisfaction. I will be scheduling surgery at the end of summer.
Dr Smith has corrected other surgeons mistakes on my knees. He is a superstar to me. Takes his time with you and is an excellent surgeon His bedside manner is like visiting a very knowledgeable old friend. Highly recommend him.
Dr. Smith and his P.A. has been treating my knee problems for many years. I love this practice- I never wait- and the care is always excellent, respectful and all questions are answered.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Stephen Smith and have oftentimes to both family members and friends. He was highly recommended by other physicians over 10 years ago for my severe hip pain. He replaced both hips; they have been trouble free ever since. He told me then that they should last forever and they have. The Peachtree Orthopedics across from Piedmont Hospital is an amazing office from the kindness of the front office Staff to the back office Staff. Dr. Stephen Smith is an extraordinary knee surgeon to my friends I referred to him for surgery- which had fabulous outcomes. I also love the P.A.s they have had on staff over the years.
