I saw Dr. Hamilton at his Cumberland location in Atlanta, Ga. I went to see him for cataract surgery. He has been a very caring, considerate and professional doctor. He put me at ease before my surgery. I am so lucky to have had surgery with him. I can see great. He is an awesome doctor and I would highly recommend him to all. I still continue to see him for eye checkups. I even have my husband seeing him. Awesome doctor.
I needed cataract removal and implants in both eyes. An Optometrist friend recommended Dr. Stephen Hamilton at Eye Consultants of Atlanta. In addition to great personal attention and excellent results, I found every staff member to be very professional and friendly.
Dr. Hamilton is beyond excellent in skill, professionalism, and compassionate care. I have been a patient of his since 2001, at which time he repaired what had been a catastrophic cataract surgery with another physician. Since that time, he has performed highly successful cataract surgery on my other eye and has seen me through artificial iris implantation. He is a caring, Christian man who puts the welfare of his patients first. Simply the best!
I was referred to Dr. Hamilton by another ophthalmologist to have the lens replaced in an eye that was pierced by a thorn 67 years ago which resulted in an enlarged pupil and a tear in the iris. For 67 years the eye has been overly sensitive to light, and I've often been asked what happed to my iris. The surgery was successful and for the first time in 67 years I no longer have increased sensitivity to light and there's no reason to have the shape of my pupil questioned!!!
I recently moved to Atlanta & conducted a detailed due diligence investigation for a highly regarded ophthalmologist to perform cataract surgery. I chose Dr. Hamilton & am delighted that I did. He exemplifies professionalism & his interpersonal skills are outstanding. His competence, caring & compassion are evident in the manner in which he communicates, taking whatever time is necessary to answer every single question I asked before & after surgery. He performed both surgeries meticulously.
Dr. Hamilton is the best opthalmologist and surgeon I have ever been treated by in my life. I had an eye injury to my left eye in December 2015. Most of my iris was missing from the injury. There was so much light coming in my eye that my vision was distorted and my eye looked very disfigured. I was very depressed. Dr. Hamilton performed a surgery on my eye and implanted the Customflex Artificial iris in my left eye. My vision is so much better now and my eye looks normal. I am so happy now.
Once I knew I needed cataract surgery there was only one doctor I would consider- Dr. Hamilton. He did a fabulous job and I am very pleased.
Words cannot express my appreciation for Dr. Hamilton. I have trusted him for the last 10 years with my eyesight and would never consider seeing someone else. If not for him, I would not be able to see to make this comment!! He and his wonderful staff have seen me through many eye procedures. Dr. H has a special calling for what he does, If you are looking for someone who has compassion & knowledge on eyes , I would highly recommend you to consider Dr. Hamilton. Tonya G. kilpatrick
