I just had my second appointment with Stephen and he was wonderful each time. Very personable and thorough. I have been dealing with chronic severe pain and mystery symptoms for the past 6+ years. I have seen so many different doctors and specialists and he is by far the best I’ve had. Very knowledgeable and proactive. Thank you, Stephen!!
After a 2½ year wait I had my first appointment with Dr. Douglas on Sept. 3/24. He was definitely worth the wait and it was such a pleasure to talk to a doctor who understood what I was going through with chronic migraine. He came up with a plan that I agreed to try and what we would do if this plan didn't work out. I was so excited after the appointment that the migraine that kept me up all night (before my appt.) became much worse. But this time I didn't mind because I knew better days lay ahead.
I've been on the waiting list for over 4 years now to just to see this doctor!! I called the office earlier in the year and was told the waiting list was 4 years, I called today( my 4 years was in August) to be told the waiting list is 6 years!! I'm happy others have actually gotten an appointment but for someone like myself to basically be treated like the pain and suffering they've been going through Isn't Important Isn't a Priority is pretty Disgusting!!
Dr Douglas listens and cares about his patients. We are lucky to have him in Nova Scotia.
