Very satisfied with the care and thoroughness that has taken me to where I’m very functional again thanks to Dr Hennigan!
Dr. Hennigan makes you feel at home. She diagnosed a shoulder problem and gave me an injection to help with the pain. Also, took the time to explain weight loss plan that I asked about. I look forward to my visits with her because she teaches me how to care for myself.
When I get there she's always happy to see me! She checks to see where my pain is and how bad it hurts. She also checks to see if I'm swollen. We talk about my other appointments with my other doctors and sees where I am medically. She is very thoughrow! She is Super Knowledgeable and I trust her 1,000%!
I just left Dr. Hennigan's office. Her level of empathy and professionalism is something that needs work. I was sent there based on my doctor's recommendation. Years ago, Dr. Hennigan diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia and today I was treated with little respect as a patient. I was hoping to leave her office with a knowing that Lupus was not a cause of my issues and a plan in place to deal with Fibromyalgia. Instead, I felt belittled and not heard. The way I felt when I left her office, I would not wish on anyone.
I have had a very similar and repetative experience to stated reviews since Dr Hennigan has attached to the new group. Noone answers calls questions have to be placed through the portal and there appears to be a lack of empathy. I feel that I have a patient portal instead of a Dr. I had a recent emergency decision that was needed that day and there was no return call. I am a long term patient and very saddened by this new situation as my experience was positive prior to the new office.
Dr. Hennigan actually helped me and listed to me, I was born with JIA and went to Scottish Rite until I was 18, they refused to change my medication and Dr.Hennigan listened to my concerns and dislikes and changed it to another one that I loved. Yes it’s hard to get an appointment but it is 100% worth if for people who’ve had Arthritis their whole lives because she understands us.
I seriously think Dr Hennigan is the best doctor I have ever seen. She makes sure all tests & treatments are ordered and talks to you in layman’s terms. She is a straight shooter and doesn’t candy coat. She’s extremely thorough & every time I have seen her she has physically examined me & made sure my questions were answered. I honestly hope I never have to change Rhuematolagists. I have an autoimmune disorder & with her help I have FINALLY gotten relief.
Dr Hennigan has been my Rheumatologist for over 6 years. She CAN come across a little rough sometimes, but remember what she’s listens to all day EVERY DAY, COMPLAINING... I think she just tells you like it is. That doesn’t mean she’s a bad dr. The reason behind her NOT filling meds without follow up is due to our LOVELY government poking their NOSES where they do NOT belong. You get one opportunity to make a first impression. One! I’m a new patient looking for someone to diagnose and treat the awful pain in my hands, most likely arthritis. Called Dr. Hennigan’s office and as expected, got to listen to a recording. I chose the appointment prompt followed by the new patient prompt.
