Rude. Snotty attitude every visit. Just sent me an email response through the Mercy patient portal “How would I know?” I dont know - your office told me to reach out. Time for a new PCP
If I could give no stars I would. I went in for my First Pap Smear and she was moving extremely fast as if she had somewhere to be. I assumed she had somewhere to be because she was dressed in a fancy dress in heels but no. No professional clothes on, not even her doctors robe, something that made her look like she cared about her job. Dr Bowen is HORRIBLE! I will never go back to this office again! After trying to get in contact with her office for 2 WEEKS, I finally reached someone who was equally as rude! Not wanting to fill my refills on meds she instead asked me “why do I need them”? I have never come across a Dr so rude, unprofessional & dressed so inappropriate in my life. I have been seeing Dr Bowen for years and that will end today. I was supposed to see her to discuss an ortho issue. However, she texted the scheduler late last night and said she’d be out this entire week. I saw someone else and i was messaging the other provider back and forth about my issue. Dr Bowen chimes in and messages me and was EXTREMELY rude, unprofessional, and dismissive about my symptoms. She asked “what do you feel is so urgent that you need to be seen today that can’t wait”? Dr. Bowen made me feel so uncomfortable discussing my concerns. It was very evident her lack of care or compassion. She comes across as entitled, arrogant, and completely self absorbed. Unfortunately, there seems to be very little room left for helping or caring for others.
I've seen Dr. Bowen for 5 years and after my last appointment, I am finally switching doctors. She has never spent more than a few minutes with me, even when I've requested a longer appointment because I had several concerns. She jumps to conclusions without asking many questions and is often judgmental. She does not follow up after tests on treatment or further testing. She does not allow time for questions. But worst of all is her utter lack of compassion and care.
I've been seeing Dr. Bowen for 10+ years. I really like her. I think people judge her because she is very pretty and dresses up to work in heels and dresses. She's not a doctor in scrubs. But she always listens to me and treats me kindly. She offers suggestions for overall health and improvement, and she will give you the medication you need. She doesn't have time for bull and doesn't beat around the bush about things. Listen to her advice and follow-up. Her nursing staff is AMAZING!
Have been going to her for years and she has been wonderful. She is to the point and honest in all visits. She has been recommended to friends and family that she has helped with diagnoses and treatment. Highly recommend.
