I went to dr. stacy bowen today and just like every other visit, she was extremely rude, dismissive, judgmental, and she did not listen to one thing I had to say. She went off on her own Tanga about everything except the reason I came in to see her in the first place. I never leave feeling heard or like it was worth the copay and time spent to see her. Never examined me. She has no time for a conversation, and she makes you feel like you're stupid. Doesn't even address legitimate concerns. I hate having to make an appointment to get my refills.
Be prepared to wait, and if you have any specific questions, you’re better off asking google.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Bowen’s for 10+ years. I used to absolutely love her and have recommended her many times to friends and family. I have read her reviews in the past and thought everyone was crazy with saying such bad things about her. Unprofessional, and very judgmental. She told that I need a pshychiatrist to help with my mental issues, not knowing I was already seeing one. When she saw the appointment was for a med refill, she ordered a drug screen. When results came back she made a comment regarding the screening. I expressed that it was a matter of opinion that I had not asked for. She told me would no longer be prescribing them for me. suggested I seek help from a psychiatrist, I informed her that I was. She was rude, never smiled and mis diagnosed me. Not once did she smile or show me any concern.
She’s crass, confrontational, cold as ice and has ZERO compassion. She doesn’t even say “hello, how are you” when she walks in the room. I left balling because she’s so awful AND she gave me terrible, unsafe medical advice. Not only is she an unprofessional doctor, she dresses sleazy. I wouldn’t recommend her to my worst enemy. Been going to this group for 10 yrs,,, they are incompetent and inept, I would advise you to steer completely away from them at all costs.... kept going back, hoping it would get better... NO CHANCE....
