By far the best bed side manners of any surgeon I have been a patient of. Very accurate recovery time diagnosis based on MRI review. Excellent direct staff contact and follow up, specifically Don Clifford, fantastic. Cannot recommend him and his office highly enough. Feels good knowing anything that comes up in the future I'm already in good hands.

Dr. Sony Ahluwalia is an excellent surgeon, he operated on my right knee for rt medial and lateral meniscus tears in 2011, then in 2013 he repaired my left shoulder rotator cuff tear, on both occasions I was able to go back to work promptly. I'm very thankful to Dr. Ahluwalia for his expertise. Divinia C. Maher

Conscientious and careful and did an excellent job on my knee surgery. I collected referrals long before calling him and they were all positive for him which is why I chose him. If I ever need orthopedic surgery again, I would definitely call him.

Doctor Ahluwalia is truly an amazing doctor. I had a total hip replacement on June 8th at noon and at 8pm I was already walking with a Physical Therapist! Next day I was already discharged from the hospital. I still can't believe how great my surgery went. Doctor Ahluwalia is there for you from the beginning to the end. Him and his Practice Coordinator Maria put me at ease. If I ever need a revision surgery or another joint to be replaced, Doctor Ahluwalia will be the only doctor I will go to.

Dr. Ahluwalia is awesome and so are the staff at his office. Following a skiing accident where I suffered a broken clavicle, I was certain I'd need surgery. My close friend who is an orthopedic surgeon looked at the x-rays and was certain their was no other option. Dr. Ahluwalia urged me to be patient for 2 months and see if it healed. Finally, following my latest set of x-rays, it showed significant healing and I am able to avoid surgery. Very grateful!

Words can't describe the joy and happiness I'm feeling right now. Just third day out of my left knee arthroscopic surgery and I am aready off using crutches. I am able to walk around with very mild to tolerable pain. My second week after surgery I was able to resume some of my day to day activities with out limping - pain free! I just want you to know how grateful and blessed I am to have Dr. Ahluwalia from Cedars Sinai perform my surgery. I highly recommend him!

I can't say enough about Dr. Ahluwalia and his staff. My hip had deteriorated very significantly due to end-stage osteo-arthritis, and the odds of a completely successful replacement were not high. Nonetheless, Dr. Ahluwalia did, literally, a perfect job. I was up and around immediately, and the full recovery was very swift. This level of success would not have been attained with most surgeons. And, Dr. Ahlwalia was always very accessible to me, and answered my questions thoroughly.

500 characters just isn't enough to describe how positive my experience was with Dr. A. He cured my tendonosis (left Achilles) using a new procedure called PRP, and also (separately) operated on my right meniscus. I trust him totally and am seriously considering going back to him for PRP on my right knee, which unfortunately has a touch of arthritis.
