Dr. A is amazing. I grew up in a time when admitting you had a problem was difficult. Dr A is so thoughtful and thorough, she put those old ways of thinking to rest and got to the root of a physical issue I had, while all along I thought I was flawed, for years. I simply had a couple of chemicals out of whack. I have a new lease on life because of the methodical, intelligent approach she took to my care. She is great, I can’t say enough about her, she literally gave me my life back
Started out loving her. Thought she was the best doctor in the area. I was WRONG! Just terrible please avoid, for your sake. She deletes/gets rid of bad reviews. Discharges paitents left&right. Over prescribes. I know a few people who go here and she has overprescribed for all 3 of us. Then says you have an abuse problem&you guessed it, discharges. Not here to see you get through your issues. She doesn’t want to deal w problems she creates. Ppl see u for ur help not for you to create more issues

Drug seekers band together, exchanging tips about doctors that have a reputation of being compassionate, exaggerating their symptoms and lying about their past drug history in order to obtain their drug of choice. Once it becomes evident that they are abusing what I have prescribed, they are switched to an equivalent medication that is much less abuseable. Only in an addict's warped worldview would removing the drug of abuse and replacing it with a safer option be considered overmedication.
I have been seeing Dr.Aeschlimann over a year now,she has always got me in quick when I need her. She understands,is extremely knowledgeable,actually listens and doesn’t rush you in and out. I refer her to everyone that is looking for a psychiatrist. She has been an absolute godsend to me.
I was dropped as a patient after "missing or canceling too many appointments". I was never told or warned about this policy. In fact the last appointment I canceled the staff made for me knowing I was probably going to cancel due to it being an emergency situation. I thought Dr A was great at first until she just dropped me because they want as much money as possible and canceling appointments wastes their time.

In patients that have great potential for decompensation, compliance and regular visits are a must. Patients like these are warned extensively, both in writing and verbally of the consequences of noncompliance. Compliance is necessary for having a good outcome. When patients are discharged, they are given continuation of the medications that made them well and suggestions of other doctors they can see. Maybe they can find a doctor that will be better able to motivate them to be compliant.
Dr. Aeschlimann is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I never felt uncomfortable and she explained things in a way that I understood what exactly might be going on. I definitely would recommend her to other people.
Dr. Aeschlimann is by far the best Psychiatrist I have seen in the last 15-20 years. She is very helpful in addressing matters or issues that are important to you, and she is non-judgemental and makes you feel welcome and equal to everyone else. I had to wait 3 months to get in to see her, but my God it was worth the wait. I highly recommend Dr A!
Dr. A is without a doubt the best of the best in the field of psychiatry in north Alabama. I began seeing her about two years ago, completely suicidal, and within 2 months, I felt like “me” again. She takes her time with her patients, listens to them, explains medications VERY well, and last but not least, she doesn’t make you feel “I’m the doctor, you’re the patient, you will do as I say and take the medication I see fit.” She collaborates with you. Which is very hard to come by.
Dr Aeschlimann is the absolute best psychiatrist i have ever been to. She is caring, always smiles, not condescending and seems like she genuinely cares about your mental health. And she is always on time with your appointment. If your appointment is at 3pm you see her at 3pm. No long wait times. The rest of the office staff is very friendly and helpful too which makes going to see Dr Aeschlimann even better. If you are looking for an awesome psychiatrist look no further than Dr Awschlimann.
Dr. Aeschlimann is a wonderful doctor. She is kind, caring, personable, and very easy to talk to. if you have questions or concerns she will contact you immediately to make sure you are ok. I highly recommend her.
