Dr. A is by far the best psychiatrist that I've ever had, not only is she highly knowledgeable within her space, she truly cares about her patients. She has always promptly addressed any issues I've had and has truly improved my overall quality of life. If you're looking for a doc, she's your lady!
Dr. Sofia is the best medical doctor I've ever had! She is SO caring and listens with her heart to everything I have to say. And she doesn't think I'm weird in any of the problems or issues I have. She just accepts me for who I am. She never puts me on a medication I'm not comfortable with. I'm so grateful she's a part of my life! I would recommend her to anyone who suffers from past and present trauma! She's got a heart of gold!
Dr. Aeschlimann is the best psychiatrist I have ever seen. She's really easy to talk to and you can tell she's listening and she has helpful solutions. Her office staff is extremely helpful and nice. She has a nurse practioner that works with her and there is a counselor in her office also. My son sees her nurse practioner, Lauren Ross, and sees Dr. Aeschlimann too. I rarely post reviews, even of other health care providers. Dr. Aeschilmann was recommended to me when I was in the worst of my severe PTSD symptoms. She is the best psychiatrist I have ever dealt with, and given I have half a dozen kiddos who have needed mental health care over the years, I have worked with dozens of psych providers. I was very turned off by my previous experiences with psychiatrists - they were dismissive and frequently rude. I was hesitant to even seek care again, but I really needed it. Dr. A is the opposite. She listens to your concerns (both about your symptoms and how you're feeling about the medications you are taking) and is knowledgeable about what to do to really help you. I have been dealing with mental health issues for half my life and was always grouped into the depression/anxiety box and given meds (that never worked-honestly, some of them made me feel worse) to treat depression. Dr A is the ONLY physician I have ever seen who is willing to explore any and all possibilities for whatever mental health issues you may be struggling with. I have been to a few psychiatrists and none measure up to Dr Aeschliman. She is professional, caring and concerned about her patients. I highly recommend her.
I recommend Dr. Aeschlimann b/c she is a very tentative, helpful, nice & kind doctor. Her staff is always polite & respectful towards me, also. I’ve been her patient for 3 years. She does not take health insurance, however. Nor, does she take patients w/ Medicare. The first visit is $175, and each follow-up is $90. Dr. Aeschlimann is the only psychiatrist around here in Huntsville, Madison & Decatur that I have found to be of any help to me.
