He was always informative, honest and direct. I value his opinion immeasurably.
I saw Dr. Marshall with a case of broken shoulder. I needed his consult to decide between doing a surgery or not. Dr. Marshall spend a fair amount of time with me, explaining all the pros and cons of the surgery, potential risks and complications, as well as the down sides on not doing it. This was a very hard and emotional decision for me and Dr. Marshall was there to support me, with both professional and personal advice, and especially provide me with the mental understanding and emotional support that I needed. Dr Marshall was very thorough, professional and friendly. He answered my concerns and discussed a program going forward
At the conclusion of our appointment I was very satisfied with how we conducted himself and how he made me feel that there was no pressing issues that he had to attend to he would answer any questions I had it was very comfortable and I did leave with a much better understanding of my situation my joints and my future actions
Very professional, personable, and was great with providing information and answering questions. This was my first experience with this kind of injury and I'm more than pleased with how the surgery went as well as my aftercare.
My tibia was vertically fractured in two locations and the plateau crushed as well when a log rolled into my knee. Dr. Marshall was optimistic he could make the repair and put me at ease from day 1. Seven weeks after surgery I was walking without crutches and now, three months post surgery, I have an ever-so-slight limp which will fade and a completely healed tibia. I am typically not a fan of doctors, but would recommend Dr. Marshall to anyone with a knee trauma. He did a fantastic job.
I had a knee patella surgery. I am grateful for Dr. Silas Marshall. He is an exceptional orthopedic doctor and surgeon who cares of patients' recovery and well being. God bless Dr. Marshall and his team.
As a former trauma orthopedic nurse, I am taking the time to write this review to help you find the very best surgeon. After shattering my knee and receiving plates and pins to hold it all together, I am recovering ahead of schedule (at age 68!). I was extremely lucky that Silas Marshall, MD was on call when I was injured, and I credit him with my miraculous-to-me recovery. A skilled, knowledgeable, meticulous surgeon who listens and has empathy, he is the best!
Thank God for Dr. Marshall! I had a serious fall that left my arm and elbow broken in six pieces. I had no idea who he even was, but so thankful he was the one doing my surgery. He did an excellent job, and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else taking care of me. Unlike so many other doctors, he truly cares and takes his time with you. Just wish Swedish of Edmonds would steal him away so he was closer in case I need him again, but I'll go wherever he is if needed!
