I was told I have state 3 endometriosis. I had been looking for someone since 15 to attempt to figure what was going on with my body and Dr sherrow did. She told me my fallopian tube and intestines were closed off. At 15 I was told to get a historectomy after my diagnosis. I did not as I was a child. Dr. Sherrow was recommended to see about getting a Bilateral Salpingectomy, but was unfortunately completely dismissive to my girlfriend who has been trying, unsuccessfully, for years to find someone willing to perform the operation. It is frustrating that women still aren't heard when trying to choose what is best for them and I can't recommend anyone that contributes to that problem.
The team at Innovative Women’s Health Specialists is exceptional! They are friendly, kind, and patient. The NPs, Cami and Chariti, are wonderful clinicians who explain the process and put you at ease. Dr. Shervonda Sherrow is warm, open, and engaging. My surgery was successful, and I always felt well cared for. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a physician who truly cares about excellence in women’s health.
So far we are one month waiting for an explanation of my wife's test results, in red almost double levels of what is normal. 1 call once a week with the answer being she needs time to look it over and will get back to you. Either it's staff, or doc directly but this anxiety is worse than before the test. Do no harm?
