When I injured my shoulder and went to the Dr they said possibly surgery and asked if I had a preference to which Dr. I wanted to see Dr. Kasim. They were a little concerned that I might not be able to get in. I didn’t have a problem and I was able to get in with no Problem and in a timely manner. Upon getting approval from my insurance company, they never attempted to contact me to get on the scheduled. In turn it took me three calls over a weeks time where I left a message each time with the 'answering service' for the schedulers to call me back. On the third time I stayed on the phone for 30 minutes waiting on the scheduling supervisor who then had to get the manager who told me the doctor denied and then the call ended. This was my introduction to Dr. Kasim's office. Unprofessional!
Always on time, personable, and did a great job on my shoulder.
I had seen Dr Kasim on 19 September for shoulder issues. She administered a corticosteroid shot to the front of my shoulder for arthritis soreness. A follow up appointment was setup for December, but was told to call if issues appeared. Today, after waiting to see if I had done anything to cause the soreness, I returned to see Dr Kasim. Hopefully the shot into the back of the shoulder, to the rotator cuff area, will provide relief for a while. I’m pleased with her approach to relieve my shoulder soreness.
Dr Kasim has a wonderful demeanor and was very thorough in her evaluation of my medical condition. In addition, she answered all my questions while being very efficient with our time in her office.
Follow up
Dr Kasim was quick and accurate and the entire process (including xray) lasted under an hour from arrival.
In reviewing my two replacements I continue to be impressed with here surgical skill resulting in a wide range of shoulder movement. Her 'bedside manner' (actually appointment manner) is excellent and all my questions were answered to my satisfaction.
