I am an active 65 year old. I had my left hip successfully replaced by Dr. Cohen on 11/16/2021. At that time, he informed me that review of my x-rays also showed that the right hip wasn't far behind and he was correct. As soon as i experienced the same symptoms, i didn't hesitate to see him again. My consultation visit was on June 6th and my hip replacement was completed on June 22nd. After a disappointing start to my 1st visit, due to a line of clients trying to check in for our appointments that went clear out the door, spilling into the sidewalk, it was worth it once I met Dr. Landis. He impressed me with his skill, gentleness, and a no-rush manner of going the extra mile with my questions & concerns.
He returned a call for feedback on discomfort my daughter was having from surgery performed on my daughter’s knee just four days ago. He was NO HELP and just felt rushed to get off the phone. He basically said, if your that concerned then take her to emergency. He never gave advice on if her discomfort is normal in the areas I addressed. He was not the surgeon who performed my daughters surgery Thank goodness!
I saw Dr. Goode as a second opinion after surgery elsewhere. He compassionately addressed my concerns and I feel I can deal with my issues going forward. Very kind person. Wish he had performed my surgery.
From checking in for my appointment, to the person who guided me to the exam room to the doctor, all were professional and friendly and knowledgeable. I have an old heel injury which has hardware in it. It was getting more stiff and painful. Dr. Landis gave me information about my choices for the future with knowledge and confidence. I chose to get a steroid shot and he was great. I was a wimp but the shot has helped so far! I may need another shot in the future and I will be braver the next time.
New in Oro Valley area and sometimes difficult to find a new doctor. Several in the community I moved into recommended Dr Bowers. Very happy I made an appointment. I was treated very well and felt like he listened carefully and give me time. My questions were answered and felt he was concerned over my hip pain issues. Just a good experience.
He is an excellent Surgeon with a dynamite personality. Had one knee done elsewhere. Dr. Cohen did the other. His work was superior with the robot method. Next he did my right hip, excellent. No walker or cane and driving in ten days. On June 14th I am getting my left hip replaced. In under a year I will have 2 knee surgeries and 2 hip surgeries for the Grand Slam. Bottom line: If you need an Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Cohen is man. Thank you Dr. Cohen for giving me my life back. P.S. His staff is so professional
