Both teeth he put a crown on needed root canal first. He did not advise this. One of crowns is not fit properly to the gum line, with uneven edges. It a molar, he flattened it out completely. Aweful.Also not polished. He claims it can not go down to the gumline, unheard of, as I have quite a few previous crowns .Also, pay attention to insurance billing/benefits.Find another dentist
The worst experience I have ever encountered in my life. Will never go back. Charged my insurance thousands of dollars without talking with me first on what is needed to be done It’s all about money
I am elderly ( 81)and originally was going to get implants and snap on dentures as I thought I could never get used to ordinary dentures.. I had bone grafts done. When I realized I could sing and didn't care if I could eat steak, I opted to just have dentures as I was adjusted them. Talk about first impressions (no pun intended): I got the time wrong and was an hour late! But I was forgiven by the very friendly and efficient staff. I got my x-rays taken (forgive me but I've forgotten the very nice young lady's name) and then I met Dr. Botello who gave me his card to call if I ever had any problems. That has never happened before!!! After the evaluation and pictures I was able to get an appointment for a cleaning the next day (today) by Kaitlyn who is incredible! After interviewing and consulting with 9 dentists in a single year, I finally found Dr. Botello and have been completely satisfied with his care for more than 5 years. He and his staff are compassionate, efficient and up-to-date with all current dentistry techniques. In addition, he is patient and thoroughly explains all procedures, costs and possible risks. My long time dentist retired. Recently I lost part of a veneer. Was referred to Dr botello. As a child had bad experiences with the dentist. I'm phobic at a dentist even though my last one was very good. So worried about seeing this new dentist. He is absolutely wonderful! He tells me beforehand what he's going to do and again while he does each thing. As he's working he will tell me how much longer something will take. No pain. I been in United States since 1980, I been to so many dentists in my life, Dr. Botello is the best ,hands down, down to earth doctor, very professional and detailed about his work. Dr. B is my regular dentist and I had a crown applied to a root canal tooth> Painless, pleasant and completely professional and in a timely fashion . Staff is competent, friendly and pleasant. I'll certainly keep coming to Dr. B for my dental work.
