Dr. Karzel has a terrific bedside manner, and I know I couldn't be in more competent hands. He's a dream doctor--everything you could hope for in terms of a warm and friendly personality, a well run office with on-time appointments, and a very qualified and patient-focused staff.
Dr Karzel is a very dedicated and caring doctor who listens to the patient and engages in a manner that not only comforts the patient but teaches and reassures the patient about their condition. I was anxious about the upcoming procedure and now that it’s over I’m relieved to say I’m feeling so much better than I anticipated. I’m thankful for the pain management that I was given. The ice therapy was excellent as well as the Plasma Flow leggings that I used daily and evenings when I slept to prevent blood clotting. Dr. Karzel is an excellent surgeon. Not only has he performed 3 of my knee surgeries (torn ACL, 2 torn menuscus) I didn't hesitate to make an appointment with him after I tore my rotator cuff. The staff he has working with him is extremely helpful, kind and all are so professional. Any questions I have had along tge way were answered thoroughly and quickly.
I CANNOT RECOMMEND this doctor - I saw him a few times for shoulder pain/limtations but did not feel that he really listened to what I was telling him. His response was simply robotic and ineffective, in fact, it continued to get worse. The final time I saw him I felt he simply dismissed me, sending me to PT. I followed his instructions but PT made things much worse. I knew I wouldn't return to Dr. Karzel went to another doctor.
