There is no one better when it comes to repairing shoulders, Achilles’ tendons, ankles, etc. He always exceeds expectations. I would recommend him without equivocation! Dr Royster is simply the best.
Dr Royster is an EXCELLENT surgeon and the most intelligent and caring Doctor I have ever known. He cares for the whole patient, not just the malady. He diagnoses and explains procedures perfectly, many times with drawings. My husband has had 2 total knee replacements and I had rotator cuff surgery . All surgeries were successful and recovery faster than others I know who used less qualified surgeons. Dr Royster loves what he does, he truly wants to make people’s lives better, he cares about us
Dr Royster is the Doctor you always wanted because he tells you straight up what things are. He is the Doctor you can trust to be looking out for your well fair and not to be looking to build himself up. It’s about making you heal well so that you can return to a healthy normal life.
Dr Royster is very easy to talk to, very compassionate and informative. He really enjoys his job and is very concerned about the patient’s overall wellbeing. With his advice I have been able to get back to running.
He has been my Orthopedic Doctor for years. Always professional, yet kind and and caring. He takes time to answer any questions you might have. Won’t do unnecessary procedures, only ones that he knows will succeed. Highly recommend. His staff is just as nice also. I plan on going to him for many years to come. Lol

He is a brilliant surgeon, I had severe leg pain for 5+years. Prior doctors told me arthritis and sent home with pills. Within 5 mins of my first visit with Dr. Royster, he knew I needed a hip replacement. Surgery was a great success, I never went above a 5 on pain n now both of my legs are the same length (the bad one was 1 inch longer) , and I have no pain in my leg!!
He operated on my husband's hip last week and it was a TOTAL SUCCESS! Dr. Royster was wonderful! He is a brilliant surgeon! My husband was on the elliptical machine 4 days later and feeling great! I highly recommend him!
