My 17 year old daughter kept complaining of pain on her left side of her knee. It was devastating because her heart and soul is all about soccer and with her pain she couldn't play. A friend recommended Dr. Thorsness so we gave him a try. It was the best recommendation. I explained my situation to his staff member and they made sure I was scheduled right away. Dr. Thorsness was excellent and I thank him for bringing back that smile on my daughters face. She is up and doing what she loves most.
My 15 year old son broke his first bone (arm) playing football. Referred by Silver Cross Hospital. Setting appointments was easy and the staff was friendly. Both the New Lenox and Joliet offices are nice and the wait time to see Dr. Thorsness were minimal. The OR was clean, modern and was staffed by very nice people. It was his first real medical procedure and they put him at ease. Dr. Thorsness showed a real desire to provide care instead of just treatment. Cast is off and he is feeling fine.
Dr. Thorsness and staff are very knowledgable and confident in what they are doing. Their special attention to detail reaffirmed we made the right decision with my 9 year olds broken elbow.
