Calm demeanor, clear in explanation of procedures and their alternatives, commands respect in his ability from those who work with him and his patients, while avoiding surgeon’s tendency for arrogance.

I received the very odd diagnosis of Macular Puckering. I was referred to him and he scheduled me for surgery. Although I don't have perfect vision (which he made clear to me before scheduling the surgery), I can now see 20/30 and I am extremely pleased. He is thorough and very talented. I would highly recommend him.

Needed a vitreous procedure done and have been postponing it for over a year. When I did have the procedure done, it was very pleasant. It was painless and my fears were relieved. Was professional, personable, has good bedside manner, and gives full disclosure about what you are going to experience. Very happy with the results too!

Gave up his weekend to fix my torn Retina, was nervous, but he explained everything and made me relaxed. Took two days, but is the best Dr I’ve ever been to . Thank you!

It was a nightmare trying to see through multiple spider webs on a daily basis. I had been told there were no options that could help me. I consulted with Dr. K and he performed a vitrectomy, removing the floaters. It has been life ... read more

Excellent. He did an amazing job of repairing a macular hole in my left eye. Throughout, his demeanor was quiet, kind, calm, and confident. He saved the sight in my left eye.
