I've been a patient of Dr. Glazer's for twelve years. He is a very good and helpful doctor. He has a good sense of what is the right course of action for a health problem and makes sound and sensible referrals. His manner is friendly and respectful but not overly intrusive. The office staff is the weakest link in his practice, especially in dealing with them on the phone. I have been going to Dr. Glazer for about 25 years. There was a time when waiting times were terrible. He has fixed the problem. I now wait only a few minutes in the waiting room and the same in the exam room. I am totally satisfied with his capabilities. He has resolved all my problems over the years and sent me to excellent specialists. For your information, I am not related to him in any way.
Woke up on a Friday with extreme back pain called Dr glazer's office at about 1045am and was told there was an unexpected opening at 1100am. I rushed over got there at 1120am waited about a half hour to be told I couldn't see any of the dr's in the practice as they were all double booked. I was informed I needed to go to urgent care, I was in alot of pain and driving was difficult but off I went. Dr. Glazer's office is the works doctor's office I've been at in years. His staff is so incredibly rude! They are not very helpful and talk down to patients. Wait time for appointments is incredibly long. As soon as I was able to, I switched my primary care doctor on my insurance to a different doctor!
Dr. Glazer is execellent the nurses and timeless of appointments and waiting could be a little better. His nnurse Rosa is great.
Dr. Glazer and his staff are rude. My latest visit I waited over an hour for a NP to barely glance at my back, then proceeded to tell me I'm old and fat. A few years back, the doctor himself told me I had social ills as I couldn't afford a diet plan, and there was nothing he could do to help me. If you are looking for someone who listens to you and cares about you, this doctor and his staff are not for you.
Dr. Glazer was my doctor for a long time while I was in college/grad school and covered by my parents' insurance. Dr. Glazer himself is a great doctor. His staff is not so awesome, however, and vary in temperment from brusque to downright rude. The office was always INCREDIBLY busy, and it was not unusual to wait an hour or more for a scheduled appointment. (I think this lateness contributed significantly to the general mood of the staff.) Affable
I have only seen Dr. Glazer once and nurses for the other visits. What aggravates me is the unhelpfulness of the staff. It takes several minutes to speak to someone on the phone even though when I go there, the receptionists are never busy. The receptionists are very careless and not helpful at all. What is a patient supposed to do to get some info about pending referrals and test results? Only when I really insisted and calling again and again did I get some information.
