It’s been 5-1/2 months since Dr. Kohen replaced my ACL and repaired my torn meniscus. WOW, does this doctor have incredible talent! I can’t imagine a better experience or even suggesting that he do anything different. He required me to rent rehab equipment even before PT would start, (power flexing machine, power calf massager, & power ice wrap). I went to Dr. Kohen for a second opinion after a very negative experience with another orthopedic surgeon. I'm so thankful I went as he "corrected" an incorrect diagnosis. Office staff eased super-helpful and professional.

Dont expect to get in to see him at your appointed time. Be respectful of your patients time! Communicate at checkin or txt. My time is just as valuable as yours ??

Dr Kohen was always thorough and professional! Cannot say the same about the staff, however. I was not allowed to check in for approx 45 minutes! Woman working that counter was unhelpful, uncooperative and just kept telling me to sit down and wait until "she could get to me"...unbelievable! Almost an hour later I was shown to a room. This is not a normal experience at this office..

I arrived 10 min early I had heard from others that there was always a long wait NOT TRUE I was in the waiting room for 15 min filling out paper work. The Assist. called me in the exam room asked some questions with regard to why I was there. It took her about 10 min. The Dr came in almost immediately after the Assist. left the room. He reviewed my x-rays & MRI & showed me where the problem was on my knee. He took his time with me, answered my questions & gave me my options for treatment.

Dr. Kohen is extremely personable, knowledgeable, and professional. He has great bedside manner and really strives to make the diagnosis and treatment plan understandable in layman's terms. His staff is just as pleasant and appropriate. After discussing MRI results, his scheduler was able to add me on for surgery just two days later. Awesome experience and would never hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

Dr, Kohen did fit us in at the last minute when our PCP would not. We do appreciate his promptness in this medical matter, Although he did overlook the obvious, My husband's leg was red from his knee. and down the front of his leg, and very warm to touch. My husband being diabetic concerned me for fear of infection. My husband did have a big infection and was hospitalized the next day. I told Dr, Kohen I would pay for services he provided, if he would pay for our unnecessary hospital stay.
