In 2023 I saw Dr Rivera. He submitted orders to have a PET scan done. I saw the PET scan report. It showed that I had nodules in both lungs. I called to get an appointment to talk to him about the report but was told by a snotty lady who answered the phone that he would not see me unless I had a sleep study done. They never called me. I started weekly treatments at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville in May 2026 for incurable non small cell lung cancer. Thanks a lot.
Dr. Rivera was very helpful with my treatment and has offered a solution and prescription. Unfortunately, my insurance company has denied the authorization for approval of the medication. After several attempts to reach the doctors office I was able to connect with Chip today he said that they are actively working with the Insurance company to get the prescribed medication but they keep denying it. Dr Rivera is wonderful. Just great, but his office is sadly inadequate. They never answer the phone, faxes from pharmacies, or others. I love the doctor, but I can't tell you how disappointed I am with the office staff.
Dr. Rivera is the absolute BEST Dr. that I've ever had! (And I've had quite a few!) Dr. Rivera will take HOWEVER much time is needed to make sure you get the care you need. The difference is his expertise AND his faith. Making sure that you are healthy is truly Dr. Rivera's "Calling"! PLUS: His staff is second to none!
I have been trying to go this office since early this morning. You can never get anyone to answer. My husband is having a problem and he can't get in touch with his doctor. If anything happens to my husband I will hold you responsible. This is unacceptable. I would give you any stars but they don't allow it.
