I have been a patient for 20 years -- in fact, I was recommended to him by fellow staff at the R. H. Fleet Science Center where I work and I believe they are also patients.

Dr Mercado and his staff are amazing. He has been our family dentist for almost 20 years. He does incredible work and his staff is wonderful. Dr Mercado takes great care, is never rushed, and is very good about education to prevent future problems. Pearl always provides me with accurate insurance info and I have never had any kind of billing mix ups. In the past when my employer plan didn't include this office I opted to pay out of pocket instead of changing dentists...I would never consider bringing my family anywhere else.
Dental care was wonderful, as usual, but greeted with "you don't have insurance so you will have to pay out of pocket." Felt on the defensive as soon as I walked through the door! Seemed to think that could have been greeted with "Good morning, I checked your insurance this morning and it is still not active...." After being a patient at this office for so many years, you would think that they would have a bit more tact! Really did make me question whether I want to return...
