As always Dr. Mercado and his staff were wonderful. I refer my friends to him all the time. He is the best!
My appt was scheduled as 2-2.5 hours (two adjacent crowns & 6 mo cleaning). I was told the cleaning would be done during the "downtime " while my crowns were being made. I was told mid-appt that my crowns would be ready in ~ 25 minutes. It was an hour & 10 min before anyone returned. So the cleaning was tacked on to the end. I was there 3.5 hours but it seems like that could have been avoided. That said, I'm very happy with the outcome, everyone in the office is personable & knowledgable. Dr. Mercado is a friendly, knowledgeable and gental dentist. He's good with people like me who fear dental work. I have never felt any pain and he is enjoyable to talk with. I recommend him highly as he does great dental work!
It would be greatly appreciated if I were to be made aware of having to pay for a product before use of it during a visit. Then later being told a have an unpaid balance of something I never signed off on or agreed to pay. There should be an agreement between the patient and Dr. to only administer services that the patient agrees upon, and patient is made aware of charges prior to services.
Everything was just right.
Very friendly, quiet atmosphere.
Everything was great as usual. I ushered that morning for the Symphony's Young People's Concert and I was done earlier than expected. I was about 45 minutes early. I was going to wait in the office until my appointment time (better than sitting in my car in the hot sun). They were able to take me early.
