Helpful, courteous, good bedside manner, direct, doesn't over medicate. Knowledgeable about condition. Provides feedback and follow-ups on test outcomes.
Condescending, perfunctory, dismissive. Addresses the symptoms and not the patient. On time but not on point. Very disappointed.
I went through an assessment for a variety of serious illnesses with her leading to a diagnosis of a relatively rare condition which other doctors missed. She was wonderful about answering questions and has a great bedside manner.
I've been going to The Neurology Center for 22 years.Dr.Herzfeld is the BEST Neurologist there.She is very Helpful and knowledgeable.I wouldn't want anyone else to treat me. Tom
I specifically sought a younger neurologist as they are generally up-to-date on the latest research and methodology. Do not let yourself be biased by age. She is an top-notch doctor with an excellent demeanor who has concern for her patients. That's increasingly rare, especially considering HOW busy her practice is. She also takes a team approach, working with a patient's PCP and other specialists to do everything possible to diagnose and treat even frustrating cases (like mine).
Dr. Herzfeld is a very caring doctor, she is also very knowledgeable and up-to-date on the latest medical information. If she is late for an appointment, she apologizes and explains why (how refreshing!). She always takes time to explain everything to you, including medications, and also listens to what you are saying and welcomes your comments and suggestions re: your own diagnosis and care. Her office appears to be well organized and all the admin staff are very personable. I would recommend Dr. Herzfeld highly!
I FOUND HER TO BE EXTREMELY HELPFUL. SHE EXPLAINED MUCH MORE ABOUT MY ILLNESS THAN OTHER DOCTORS HAD DONE EVEN THOUGH THE DIAGNOSIS WAS THE SAME..MY DAUGHTER WAS WITH ME AND SHE AGREED THAT I HAVE FOUND A DOCTOR WHO INSTILLS CONFICENCE.
This doctor is much too young. She could not figure out or make sense out of my dad's complaints which were rather straightforward. It seemed as though she lacked basic knowledge and does not act like a respectable doctor. It was a waste of our time to see her. Give her 10 more years to mature.
