I had hernia surgery at age 79 with Dr. Kolachalam. He was very personable and explained the procedure in detail. I felt very comfortable with his expertise and bedside manner. My recovery is going as outlined by Dr. K and I would not hesitate to refer him or use his surgical expertise in the future. His office staff was very warm and accommodating. Great experience!

I went to Dr. Kolachalam for a second opinion because the first surgeon did not want to do the surgery, he told me to lose weight and my hernia would be ok, it was not ok and getting very painful. Dr K was very nice and answered all of my questions before and after the surgery, and I`am glad that I chose him. I would highly recommend him.
My mom needed surgery to remove her adrenal gland to help lower her high blood pressure but she had been avoiding it for the last 7 yrs. Unlike other surgeons, Dr. Kolachalam was actually able to ease her worries about the surgery which lead to her finally getting it done! The surgery was seamless and she had very little pain afterwards. Highly recommend this doctor!
