My experience during a Stent was fine, BUT ,really hard to see Dr Rao again. His office will schedule you with a Nurse Practitioner but to actually get an appointment with Dr Rao is hard because he is not here most of the time. Either in procedures (where the real money is) or traveling.
To dependant on Nurse Practitioners who are not Doctors or Cardiologist. 2 appointments, At 1st visit seen NP who I requested not be allowed in my room seen Dr for maybe 5 minutes, 2nd visit Doctor was not at Office so NP came in room. She had not looked at my chart knew nothing about me or the purpose of my visit. I declined to coninue the visit & complained to the person in charge that I couldn't continue with the visit I needed to see the doctor. there was another patient standing at the counter also upset that she didn't... read more
I consider myself very fortunate to have Dr. Rao as my cardiologist. I credit him for saving my life in 2017. He is very compassionate, and takes time to explain your condition and on how to improve your health. His assistant, Wendy Doyle is such an amazing person and the staff are very professional and go out of their way to make sure your visit is pleasant. I would highly recommend Dr. Rao.
Patient for a number of years at Dr. Rao's New Smyrna Beach office. Miss having his brother as part of the practice- both were very good. Nice staff, explanations are good and exams thorough. Recommended to my Mother who is now a patient also.
He is a very good doctor who takes his time to help solve the problem. I love his office staff each one courteous, professional and very accommodating. It's difficult to find a doctor and an office that cares about their patients, in today's world. I highly recommend Dr. Rao who has some of the best updated technology available right in his office.
