Dr Morris has been a blessing as he both diagnosed and helped treat my bipolar. He listens when have medication concerns and makes you very much part of the process to find the best plan of action. He really cares and wants you to feel like you. I will always be grateful for him and his expertise.
I have been seeing Dr. Morris for many years. I have always found him to be collegial, helpful, and knowledgeable about mental illness and various treatments. When I’ve had problems with medications, he has always proven himself to be knowledgeable about alternatives.
It stood out to me from my visit that Dr. Morris lacked knowledge in mental illness and the condition that I had. I was not satisfied with the level of expertise as well as the professionalism shown by Dr. Morris during my visits.
I was disappointed with the treatment plan Dr. Morris had me on. I didn’t feel that he did a sufficient job in addressing my needs. I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Morris because my mental health did not improve after seeing this doctor. Others I know had similar experiences.
Dr. Morris is truly a caring, intelligent, compassionate individual who will not sugarcoat any of his explanations. He is both what I call a give-up AND a go-up doctor. I am bipolar and have an obsession with wealth and making money and gambling. My life has turned around since going to Dr.Morris and as proof, I have the highest-rated class of its kind on udemy.com That's what I mean by he is a go-up Doctor, he is a great coach besides being a great doctor
My experience with Dr. Morris was about as bad as it get. I visited his office with my son, who I felt needed immediate help. He disagreed completely. Instead of doing something, he asked my son if he needed help. And yes, my son said no. Dr. Morris stood up, opened the door and asked us to leave, the appointment was over. I will never forgive him for his lack of action. That day was one of the last day I saw my son alive. He commit suicide 2 days later.
I fired Dr. Morris after one session. The appointment went OK if you don't mind being met by a doctor in a velour jogging suit and a desk and credenza *bulging* with paperwork and files. He provided no great insight about my PTSD disability and later was quite rude on the phone when I asked repeatedly for the referral he wanted me to see. He told me to be nicer to the staff and I told him, "Then tell them to do their job." They lost my length new patient questionnare, as well as my neuropsych report. The level of rudeness wa... read more
I was fortunate many years ago to see Dr Raphael Morris for the first time. I have been seeing him since and would not think of changing Doctors. Although my moods have varied greatly at times - he seems steady in his treatment approaches. I trust him.
I moved here 7 years ago and was having trouble finding a doctor that I liked and would help me treat my condition I have had for over 18 yrs. After going through 3 other doctors that just pissed me off I found him through a referral and I would definitely refer him as well. He actually has so many patients I'm not even sure he is taking new ones but if your looking for one and he is accepting I would HIGHLY recommend him.
