Wait time is very efficient, staff is kind and courteous, time spent with Dr. Shah or Perri is fun and productive.
He may be a good doctor, but his bedside manner leaves much to be desired. He talked down to me in s sarcastic manner, and when I woke up mid-procedure in the Cath lab, he YELLED at me repeatedly. Quit his practice and reported him to my insurance the very next day.
He is very easy to talk to and attends to every concern with patience and kindness. He also explains testing and other matters of heart health concerns in ways that are easy for anyone to understand.
Made appointment and got in to see doctor with a reasonable short wait. Have been seeing this doctor for a number of years and am completely satisfied with his care of me and my wife. Always courteous and listens to my questions or concerns.
Dr Shah is very caring, always calm, very patient and knowledgeable . It appears he works with everyone at the hospital and they all know him.
I feel that I was initially evaluated thoroughly and provided very good consultation. Considering family history, it gives me great comfort and relief to know that I am actually relatively healthy for my age. Follow up care has been great. I had some joint pain related to statin drugs for cholesterol that he helped me work through. Dr. Shah is easy to talk to, explains test results well and responds thoroughly to questions. I am happy with my care.
I've seen Dr. Shah several times in the last couple of months. I had Aortic Stenosis and he recognized there was a problem. He ordered the proper test, did a Cardiac Catheterization and found out the stenosis was severe. He referred me to Dr. Almanfi and on January 17th, I had a TAVR.
Dr. Shah is always very thourough and never rushed when he comes into the exam room. Dr. Shah has been my cardiologists since July 2003, lost count of the cardiac caths and treadmills and 1 PET at 7 I have not lost count of my stents. I may be a longterm patient of Dr. Shah but I've been blessed wih enough time to see 5 grandchildren and retirement. There's a lot of Trust for Dr. Shah with me and my family.
Experience @ Dr. Shah's practice is v-important to understanding good heart-health treatment. I trust Dr. & the BayArea Heart staff totally. Thank you.
