totally unprepared! I had to find op reports in my file that he obviously didn't look at. he spent most of the time looking at xrays on the computer while I stared at the side of his head. Very rude man! Ive have 8 back surgeries and am not on any pain meds, maybe he thought I was seeking drugs. But if he read my current med list he would have seen I wasn't. Dr. Phillips performed my back surgery & he is the best there is! I was unhappy with my current doctor & Dr. Phillips explained everything in words that I could understand. I was scheduled for a knee replacement but I had fallen a 1 week before my scheduled surgery. I am on blood thinners and I had fallen many times before this with nothing happening, that's why I didn't think nothing about this fall as any different. It was! Apparently a varicose vein a ruptured inside the calf of my leg. I won't go into the day by day details of what happened but by the time my scheduled surgery the calf of my leg was 3x's normal size. I didn't mind the 45 minute wait,and understood, hen he studied my medical history and x-rays for almost two hours.

I had two emergency back surgery with Dr.Phillips, He explained everything to me and my family. Very pleased with the results! I will only go to Dr.Phillips. He is highly recommend.

If you expect a thorough examination and professional opinion and diagnosis, Dr. Phillips is the doctor for you. You will have to wait longer than you want too at appointments, but he is worth the wait. Last year he performed two major procedures on my back. The surgery went better than I expected. He and his staff are awesome! Dr. Phillips will listen to you and take his time in answering questions until you understand. He is honest and the best in spine surgery. I will only see him.

My wife had her first appointment with Dr Phillips yesterday. After xrays, he was extremely professional. He reviewed the xrays and bone scan and and pointed out all the problem areas and made recommendations and prognosis. He has ordered another MRI, to compare to the one of two years ago, and a bone density test, to determine if her bones would allow surgery. He dictated his report into the computer, so we could hear exactly his comments, prognosis, and follow up. Answered all questions.

He is always behind schedule but have found that he is worth the wait. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and takes his time.
