You feel like you just apart of the 'factory'. He is overbooked, the wait times are ridiculously long. We were treated like another number, rude, uncompassionate man and i would not recommend him to anyone, drive to Bega if you have to...The surgery is a 'joke' for a health professional with no satisfactory waiting area, public toilet facilities and don't get me started on the access to this building is atrocious..
I do not recommend Dr Larkin. The results of my cataract surgery are mediocre. My story: For a quicker outcome, I went private and paid $4,000 plus travel and accommodation costs to have cataract surgery on my left eye. In spite of the impressive measurements made on my first visit, I was never offered any choice of lens. Since my surgery (early in 2024), my best focus seems to be about 3m - 5m away; neither long nor short. On the follow up visit, I asked Dr Larkin what type of lens he had used. Dr Larkin does a great job looking after my wife's eyes. One suggestion though get your driveway fixed it's like a MX track. Great they have fixed the driveway.

Dr Larkin and his wonderful staff are literally sight savers. Doctor Larkin covers a huge area of the South Coast of NSW. He saves the sight of so many through the most modern science available. I have had injections in one eye for nearly six years and they stopped the progress of my Wet Macular Degeneration. Now I have had my cataracts done and my sight is amazing.
