I was truly surprised to see Dr. Lau’s low online ratings, and as the husband of one of her staff members who’s worked with her for 16 years, I want to share some honest perspective: 1. **About the front desk service**: My wife isn’t one to sugarcoat things. If patients are rude or disrespectful, she won’t pretend to be cheerful — and Dr. Lau always stands by her team. While this might seem harsh, it’s how they uphold mutual respect in the clinic. 2. **Why so many elderly patients?** Many doctors in the Asian American Medica... read more

My grandma began seeing Dr. Lau at the referral of another doctor - do NOT waste your time at this office and go to another oncologist who will actually care for their patients and their families. The office, to begin with, gives off a terrible first impression due to how poorly kept it is. It's extremely small, cluttered, and run-down. I normally would not spend the time to write a review for a medical professional but Dr Lau and her receptionist staff are truly some of the best. Dr Lau ... read more

Great attitude from the doctor and the staff. Dr. LAU talks to you and tries to get to know you, which is very important. Wait time is not bad for an office that is busy. I have recommended Dr. LAU to many of my friends and family.

Having dual practice as a physician doesn't make sense but you see a lot of those with Chinatown (Manhattan, Brooklyn, & Flushing) oncologists. Never could understand why a specialist would go through at least four more years of training to become an oncologist andthen, willing to see a patient as PCP?
