The ability to get in to see him, rather than a PA, in a short period of time is a major reason I am switching from going to CORE. He and is staff were well informed of my issues (i.e. read the paperwork), provided alternatives for next steps, and answered all my questions. I had been misdiagnosed with arthritis from a previous non-Ortho Arizona PA and Dr Mahoney was very sure of what had been causing my longstanding issues (not arthritis). Thank you!
Good experience throughout my hand care
Dr. Mahoney is a top notch surgeon. I had damaged my pinky finger a while ago - he explained the procedure very well, issues with delaying the surgery and options for fixing it. Patient individual with the heart to help and did regular check up post surgery. Highly recommend him.

Very good experience
1st visit went well. Dr. Mahoney and his staff were very nice and professional. He explained his diagnosis and gave me an overall treatment plan. At this point up to time and myself on the follow-up.
Dr Mahoney did operations on two of my fingers four years ago know I have same problem to other two fingers Because I moved to a different location I had to drive two hours to see Dr Mahoney I did not want to see someone else he is very good in what he is doing I did not feel any pain he made it very easy in two weeks I was all done with the stitches all cut and good to go If you need a hand doctor I strongly recommend him Trust me he is good!!
Dr. Mahoney explained the surgery and did an excellent job. I had minimal pain and didn't need any pain medication. My hand is healing beautifully. Should I need the surgery on my other hand, Dr. Mahoney will definitely be the one.
