I’ve been a patient of Dr Mahoney many years. He is a terrific doctor.
Dr. Mahoney did an injection in my hand and explained what surgery on the hand will involve. He was thorough with the information provided.
Visit was about an hour before I saw the doctor, but the rest of consultation went well.
Dr Mahoney did carpal tunnel release surgery. My numbness did not go away after surgery but hope the nerves wake up over the next year. Dr Mahoney is very caring and answers all questions. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
It was an extremely long wait for a very short Dr. consult. Dr. took my word that I had 2 trigger fingers and immediately stated I needed cortisone shot in each hand. He did not touch my hands, manipulate my sore fingers or really pay attention to how my whole hand hurt, both of them. Both hands are still sore and I don't know how to fix that. I know Dr. is very busy, he was kind and nice and needed to attend to more urgent issues...in my honest opinion. I just wish he had taken a few more seconds to actually touch my hands ... read more
I just loved the visit with Dr. Mahoney.. He is prompt , concise, and thorough. If you need more context to a procedure or your diagnosis, just ask! He truly wants you to leave his office with an understanding of your visit. I've already seen him before and had a surgery on my left hand-wrist done.. and I was comfortable going in already knowing exactly what he was going to do. Now 1 year later I'm back.
