I suffered from carpel tunnel syndrome. I had experienced pain and numbness in my hand for a number of years, but the numbness had increased to the point that I was constantly dropping things. Dr. Engineer explained the surgery that needed to be done so that I could understand it. I never experienced any pain post surgery and the rehab time was very short. I dissevered a nerve to my ring finger. Dr. Engineer resectioned it. He explained the healing procedure and what I could expect. He was vigilant about my therapy and generally concerned. His description of the healing process was correct almost to the week! Very impressive doctor on all counts.
I was referred to Dr. Engineer by my current orthopedic physician. Dr. Engineer and his staff were extremely nice and treated me with great concern and care. The Dr. seemed to be very knowledgeable of what my problem was and he laid out my options in detail and what I would possibly end up with regarding surgery but at a much later date. I saw Dr. Engineer for a second opinion after reading his reviews. First, of all he came off as very arrogant and when I asked a question he just kept telling me what he wanted to tell me. I had already been to another doctor so I kinda knew what was going on. I really wanted to know what I could do to avoid surgery if possible, but he kept telling me that I needed this special surgery. Come to find out he used to work for the Brown hand center. Dr. Engineer and his staff are the best. I was very nervous at the thought of surgery but Dr. Engineer and his staff were so patient and understanding that my experience was a breeze. Dr. E explained everything clearly and answered all my questions...several times over! The day of surgery, I felt confident because I had put my fears aside. He and his staff are the best!
