I had a fall in another state (PA) where I had a Reverse Shoulder Replacement. Upon coming home to Virginia my Family doctor and I reviewed doctors to take on my case for follow up and physical therapy. Since I had a major knee revision and follow ups with Ortho Virginia (that doctor had retired), we looked at the office near our home. Dr. Coleman did a fantastic job with my distal tendon surgery. After three months I’m 98% back to normal. From the initial consult he clearly explained the entire surgical procedure, as well as what to expect at each follow up appointment. I can’t thank him and his staff enough. I highly recommend him.
Highly professional squared away organization. I out off getting checked out because I thought it would be a hassle, but they got me through the visit quick and efficient. I’ll definitely go back and recommend to others.

Interviewed everyone for my athlete sons’s ACL surgeries. He did one as a child and one as an adult. He got him back to division I level and snowboarding. He is now my surgeon as well and I couldn’t ask for a better.
My visit was for an evaluation of two knee replacement/revisions from years ago. The process was thorough, professional and practical. I had all of my questions answered completely and a treatment plan set out.
My visit was for an ongoing torn rotator cuff issue and accompanying arthritis (second tear almost 20 years after original repair). My only permanent option is a reverse shoulder replacement; however, for scheduling reasons, it is not the right time. Dr. Coleman was excellent at taking care of a nagging issue, including clearly communicating options and offering a near-term treatment that took care of a lot of the pain. Professional and great work ethic.
