I consider Dr. Coleman to be one of the finest physicians I have encountered. He is personable, attentive, and highly insightful. The shoulder surgery he performed for me five years ago was a complete success, and I remain deeply grateful to have a physician of his caliber involved in my care.
I had never been to an orthopedic surgeon before, but decided to consult with Dr Coleman about a recent contusion to my right knee that I felt was taking too long to heal. He gave me a very clear explanation about exactly what was going on, and said that all that it needed to heal was time and mild exercise. Needless to say, I was greatly relieved to know that it will not require surgery and/or weeks of PT! I will definitely be recommending Dr Coleman to anyone I know who is in need of an orthopedic specialist.
As a person used to physical activity, it is so wonderful to have a doctor who can recommend many solutions to orthopedic problems. I chose surgery &PT for many of my problems because I can reduce terrible pain or disability thru that approach. I completely trust Dr Coleman to honestly and forthrightly tell me what I need to do, as he carefully explains exactly what he can or cannot do to help me. We need more doctors like him and I cannot thank him enough for several pain free joints (after my recovery). I can walk!
I must have been the last appointment of the day and it showed. Dr. Seemed to be in a hurry, which is typically not like him. I had to have stitches removed, which should have came out a lot earlier (the were starting to embed in my skin) The NP tried but it was really painful. She then called the Dr in and he got the out quickly but it was very painful. The entire staff is awesome and I feel blessed to have them as healthcare providers.
This was a followup and the physician and staff took all of the appropriate steps to prepare for the visit and provided all of the care in a professional and caring manner.
Dr. Coleman was patient with a great bedside manner. He listens to the patient!
Dr. Coleman was simply fantastic, professional, communicative to the point and always encouraging. The nurse and surgical staff were so nice and caring. Felt so comfortable.
I went to Dr. Coleman after being told I wasn’t bad enough for surgery. After I actually got to see my X-rays with him and talking to him he moved my arm (my previous doctor never even touched my arm) and immediately explained 2 options and which he thought would be best for my lifestyle. Believe it or not, my husband and I have never been so glad to be scheduling surgery. It was great to be validated, but most of all listened to.
