Not a good Dr.in my opinion
I cannot say enough about Dr. Nancy Chen at Kapolei Eye Center. The difference between my first and second eye surgeries was truly night and day—and it all comes down to the care I received from Dr. Chen and her team. Dr. Chen is incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She takes the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and make sure you're fully informed and at ease. What happened to my review? Seems like the Dr. has set up a new Google listing so no one sees what people are really saying about her. Do. Not. Go. Here. She ruined my friends eyes, refused to give another friends daughter her glasses at all, and she told me my son had vision problems and alluded to an off base idea that my daughter may have cancer in her eye. If you are looking for a thorough and professional ophthalmologist then Dr. Chen should be your choice. I have never had a more thorough exam for my eyes. During which I was advised that she discovered that I have glaucoma and cataracts, both of which I was never told about but has been present. She also performed eye surgeries for both of my eyes removing two different pterygiums that others did not want to handle, which resulted in the correction of Astigmatism in one eye, and improved vision in both.
