I have been a patient of Dr Vijay's for several years and have been very satisfied. He is very attentive and thorough.
Dr. Vijay is very methodical and thorough. He explains the findings so that they are understandable and discusses options for your care to your satisfaction. In addition to staying up on current research, he conducts his own research and studies. He also mentors students who are in the medical field. I highly recommend him to new patients.
Dr. Vijay has been my cardiologist for well over 30 years, and I have been very pleased with his treatment of my cardiac condition. I never feel hurried when I have my appointments with him, and he takes the time to explain in layman's language the results of my blood work, procedures and physical in general. Dr. Vijay is very smart, detailed and caring. He is not only an outstanding cardiac physician but in addition, he and his wife and family have become good friends!
Dr. Vijay is a caring and thorough cardiologist. His depth of knowledge and experience are invaluable when deciding on cardiac care options. He does not pressure patients into procedures - but rather lays out the options and possible benefits for the patient to make the ultimate decision. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
I have to re-establish myself for Dr. Vijay for I have been a patient of his in the past. I have never felt so relived that the he said a I have a great heart. It was extremely rewarding.

Dr Vijay is wonderful. While I get great annual care at my checkup, he has also seen two of my friends I recommended and they have also been extremely helped by his vast knowledge and caring attitude which is never condescending. He answers any question you might have. There is a reason he has been named a Top Doctor by 5280 magazine and he also does research for the American Heart Association. You want him on your medical team!
To compare the care from one cardiologist to another I'd rate Dr Vijay outstanding because of his thoroughness, his way of explaining and his calmness. He has made himself available when necessary.
I had a very good experience with Dr. Vijay. I felt confident in the work he did with me.
