I read a doctor’s bio before I book an appointment. Dr. Shanti is highly educated and has received accolades from his peers. I had a great experience with the whole team in the Cary Orthopedic office. Dr Shanti took time to explain the details of my health issue and give me choices. Rushed though initial appointment and ordered MRI. Refused to prescribe standard dose of medication for claustrophobic patient for MRI. I switched physicians to a doc who cares more about the comfort of their patients!

After 2 more visits it became apparent that he was focused on his speciality and was not making appropriate efforts to diagnose the complaint for which I presented. He never examined me or tested for range of motion that were important factors in addressing my problem. He only relied on imaging data.
