Dr. Roumaya has been my OB/GYN since 2016 and also delivered my son, which included addition medical care after. She is always on time, asks questions, and makes sure I have all the information I need to make decisions about my health. She is also incredibly kind and a great person overall. The rest of the staff is just as great. Even with a 40-minute drive, I will absolutely continue seeing her—she’s worth it and I cannot recommend her enough.

Be wary of this doctor. She performed a cervical biospy on me wrongly claiming there is no need for pain management because the cervix doesn't have nerve endings. It hurt, a lot, and I was bleeding onto the floor. Horrible experience. I then had a LEEP procedure where all of the potential complications were not discussed and when I brough them up after the surgery I was basically gaslit that that wasn't possible. If you suspect PCOS, have irregular cycles, or want informed reproductive care, especially if you're not actively trying to conceive—I strongly recommend finding a provider who listens, investigates, and treats you based on your symptoms, not your marital status. I found Dr Roumaya about 6 years ago after graduating from university. I specifically sought Dr Roumaya because as a woman of color, I felt strongly about finding the right medical support for future family planning. When I first saw the doctor, I was in my early 20's.
